Antisyzygy writes: Starting next year, HP's WebOS mobile operating system will run on pretty much every smart phone, tablet, laptop and desktop that HP ships. This is a good thing because it allows one to sync all of their devices seamlessly.

  • Apple really isn't there in the corporate world, but the iPad is already proving quite a good Trojan. Fortunately for HP and Google, the sync between iOS and OS X is still a bit of a joke - iTunes? - in the corporate IT world. If HP can tell managements - as appears to be the case - that they have a long term replacement path for Windows desktops which will continue to support legacy applications, while at the same time having a platform which will provide IT with a single system from phones to thin clients
    • I am looking forward to WebOS. I think its going to be big since its totally geared towards business. Apple doesn't seem to be geared towards business at all.
